Ms. King has represented many interests in zoning matters in Baltimore County and Baltimore City. She has represented businesses and individuals seeking a zoning change to their property before the Zoning Commissioner. She has represented community groups opposing a zoning change close to the neighborhood, including requests for variances and conditional uses for nearby property. Ms. King recently represented a neighborhood association in Baltimore City in preventing a developer from getting a variance and conditional use to put high density apartments adjacent to the neighborhood.
Ms. King has also represented individuals and businesses cited for zoning violations, appearing with the property owners at administrative hearings to protest the citation.
Ms. King has also worked on behalf of clients in reaching agreements among property owners relating to the use of adjacent properties. She has negotiated agreements governing the use of certain parcels so that adjacent property owners protect their rights.
